The Korea Professional Baseball Kiwoom Heroes (CEO Wi Jae-min) will hold this season's "Hero's Debut Ceremony" at the first base cheering platform after the exhibition game against the Doosan Bears on the 15th at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome.
The ceremony will be held under the concept of "Leap: The Prelude to Heroes, The First Step Together." The players will announce their determination and goals for the season at this event.
After an opening performance by the cheerleaders to signal the start of the event, players will enter, and Manager Hong Won-ki will deliver a presentation, followed by Captain Song Sung-moon sharing his season aspirations.
Kiwoom will designate two fans who actively supported during the game as cheering heroes and conduct the "Hero Leap" debut performance with Manager Hong Won-ki and Captain Song Sung-moon. The cheering heroes will receive a new uniform signed by all players.
The event will continue with activities involving fans. A "Heroes Talk Show" will be held where players answer questions drawn from those submitted by fans in advance.
Newly recruited players and rookies will also have time to greet fans. Special performances prepared by rookie-level players will be presented to offer fans a unique experience.
The ceremony will conclude after Captain Song Sung-moon's closing remarks with a group photo taken with the players and fans.
