Professional baseball team Doosan Bears has invited a special Commissioner to the practice games at the Miyazaki spring camp in Japan.

Doosan Bears announced on the 22nd that "'Bears left-handed pitcher with the most wins' Yoo Hee-kwan, KBSN Sports Commissioner, will provide a surprise commentary."

Yoo Hee-kwan, who recorded the most wins (101) among left-handed pitchers in the Bears' history and retired, is expected to cover the Miyazaki spring camp in his capacity as a Commissioner for KBSN Sports. As KBSN Sports prepares to cover the Miyazaki spring camp, Commissioner Yoo decided to visit the Doosan Bears' camp a day earlier and grab the microphone.

A Doosan representative met in Miyazaki and said, "The original plan was for Commissioner Yoo to arrive on the 24th and visit the baseball stadium on the 25th, but to accommodate Doosan fans, he decided to arrive on the 24th and go straight to the stadium to grab the microphone."

Commissioner Yoo noted, "This is my first visit to Doosan's Miyazaki spring camp in five years since 2020. Although I am here as a Commissioner, I am thrilled to be part of it." He added, "I want to see with my own eyes the Doosan players sweating in preparation for the season's opening. I will bring warm news for fans who are thirsty for baseball."

On the 24th, Commissioner Yoo will take the microphone at the third evaluation match against the Yomiuri Giants' second team at Miyazaki Sun Marine Stadium.

After playing two practice games, Doosan lost to the Japanese corporate team Sega Sammy 1-8 on the 21st before defeating the Saitama Seibu Lions 5-4 on the 22nd, marking their first win.
