Rookie pitcher Jeong Woo-joo boasted about Hanwha to '5 billion Yoon.'

Jeong Woo-joo from Hanwha held an interview with the press after finishing bullpen pitching at Akama Stadium in Onna, Okinawa, Japan, on the 21st (Korea time).

The first overall pick of the rookie draft Yoon Hyun-woo and second pick Jeong Woo-joo recently appeared in a practice game. Jeong Woo-joo pitched two-thirds of an inning against the Australian national team, giving up no hits, two walks, one strikeout, and one earned run, while Yoon Hyun-woo faced the Taiwan Chinatrust Brothers, pitching two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits, two walks, and two earned runs (one of which was unearned).

When asked what they talked about during their appearances, Jeong Woo-joo noted, "We don't talk much about baseball; we discuss how we're doing, what Kiwoom is like, and what Hanwha is like." When asked if he boasted a lot about Hanwha, he quickly replied, "Yes, I did."

He said, "The atmosphere is good, and it's a great environment for playing baseball," expressing his affection for the team. After hearing Jeong Hyun-woo's compliments, he replied, "We both had mechanical reactions," which made the reporters laugh.

Regarding the decrease in baseball conversations, he responded, "We got really close while on the national team, and we used to contact each other often, but after the draft, we barely talk about baseball."
