Recently restored systems include: ▲ Fire Department rescue and safety activity information system ▲ Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism investigation support system ▲ Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy FTA integrated portal ▲ Ministry of Personnel Management overseas business trip and training information system.
Among systems closely tied to daily life, the "grade 1" systems have been 77.5% normalized, and the recovery rates for grades 2 and 3 are 58.8% and 51.7%, respectively. The recovery rate for grade 4 is 37%.
Earlier, at about 8:15 p.m. on the 26th of last month, a fire broke out due to a lithium-ion battery explosion in the computer room on the 5th floor of the NIRS building in Hwaam-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. Damage to systems affected by the fire caused government services to fail across the board. The government has continued restoration work to this day, 21 days after the incident occurred. The government set a goal of normalizing most government systems by the 20th of next month.
