On the 21st, the first day of the application for living recovery consumption coupons, access to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's website is delayed.
As of 9:30 a.m. that day, accessing the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's website displays the message 'Service access is in progress,' along with the message, 'There are currently many users, and access is delayed. Please try again shortly.'
This seems to be due to the launch of the living recovery consumption coupon application. A Ministry of the Interior and Safety official noted, 'When searching for living recovery consumption coupons on internet portal sites like Naver, related guidance is being consolidated to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's website,' adding, 'This is likely the reason for the simultaneous increase in access.'
It has been identified that not only the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's website but also access to some credit card companies' applications or websites has become 'inaccessible.'
Meanwhile, from 9 a.m. that day until 6 p.m. on September 12, applications for the first round of living recovery consumption coupons will be accepted through both online and offline channels for about eight weeks. To prevent system overload and congestion at community service centers during the first week, from the 21st to the 25th, a weekday system will be implemented based on the last digit of birth years. Last digit 1 and 6 are for Mondays, 2 and 7 for Tuesdays, 3 and 8 for Wednesdays, 4 and 9 for Thursdays, and 5 and 0 for Fridays. Online applications can only be made on weekends.
