Trains that were halted due to heavy rainfall have mostly resumed normal operation since 9 a.m. on the 20th. However, the 'suburban line' in the northern Gyeonggi region requires inspection, and a separate announcement will be made regarding the resumption of train operations.
KORAIL announced that it would resume operations for trains on the Gyeongbu Line (regular trains), Gyeongjeon Line, and Honam Line, which had been adjusted due to extreme rainfall in the southern region, starting at 9 a.m. The operator of SRT (Suseo High-Speed Railway), SR, also noted that the Honam Line (Gwangju Songjeong-Mokpo), Jeolla Line (Iksan-Yeosu Expo), and Gyeongjeon Line (Dongdaegu-Jinju section) have entered normal service.
However, KORAIL stated that operations for the suburban line (Daegok Station to Uijeongbu Station) have not yet resumed. KORAIL mentioned that "operations are expected to resume after facility inspections and repairs," adding that "a separate announcement will be made."
