A wage system consulting firm like KPMG Samjong Accounting Corp. will visit corporations directly to diagnose situations and analyze job roles, providing in-depth consulting that supports improvements across human resources and labor management. It will operate a council of industry-specific experts to establish a systematic consulting direction reflecting the characteristics and issues of each industry, and will review the consulting process to aid improvements.
Any mid-sized or small corporation that wishes to improve its wage system and has the willingness to implement it can apply for this project. Interested corporations can apply directly to the industry-specific operating agencies. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Employment and Labor will develop a standard model for industry-specific wage system improvements based on the results of individual consulting, which will be shared on the Wage Job Portal. Corporations that do not participate in the project can also use the standard model to diagnose their current wage systems and make self-improvements.
