An event will be held where young people looking for overseas employment can obtain direct information about overseas jobs from diplomats.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 17th that they will hold the "8th meeting of overseas employment officers from diplomatic missions in 2025" at the Coreana Cosmetics Hotel in Seoul for two days from the 17th to the 18th, in order to support young people's entry into the overseas job market.
Fifteen overseas employment officers from embassies in countries such as the United States, Canada, and Australia will participate in the event. On the first day, they will share successful case studies and strategies for supporting overseas employment by country (embassy), and on the second day, they will provide practical local information to young people who wish to go overseas.
Young job seekers attending the event will have the opportunity to hear real-life experiences from mentors who have successfully entered overseas markets, including the local situation in the destination country and overseas job know-how. They can also obtain local recruitment information, emergency response methods that may arise during employment, and visa-related information from diplomats working as overseas employment officers.
