According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 12th, temperatures will be higher than the average on that day but will drop to 2 to 8 degrees below the average starting on the 13th and will remain there for the time being.

At 8 a.m., the temperatures in major cities were 14.8 degrees in Seoul, 14.4 degrees in Incheon, 14.2 degrees in Daejeon, 15.3 degrees in Gwangju, 11.3 degrees in Daegu, 11.6 degrees in Ulsan, and 13.0 degrees in Busan.

The highest temperature during the day is expected to range from 16 to 24 degrees.

Rain has already started to fall in the Jeju mountains, and rain will spread from Jeju to Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the northern coast of South Chungcheong in the morning. The nationwide rain will continue until night.

Precipitation will continue until early morning on the 13th in Gangwon's eastern coast, inland Chungcheong, eastern North Jeolla, and Yeongnam. Afterwards, from early morning until night on the 13th, it will rain occasionally in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and Chungbuk until noon. The rain on the 13th will intermittently fall and stop sporadically.

Expected rainfall is 20 to 80 millimeters (over 100 millimeters in the Jeju mountains, excluding the northern region), 20 to 60 millimeters in the southern coastal area of Jeollanam-do, eastern inland of Jeollanam-do, Busan, Ulsan, southern coastal area of Gyeongsangnam-do, and southwestern inland of Gyeongsangnam-do, 20 to 50 millimeters in the five islands of the west sea, 10 to 40 millimeters in the metropolitan area, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, Gwangju, Jeollanam-do (excluding southern coastal and eastern inland), Gyeongsangnam-do inland (excluding southwestern inland), and northern Jeju, 10 to 30 millimeters in Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, northwestern inland of Gyeongbuk, northeastern inland of Gyeongbuk, and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, 5 to 30 millimeters in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, 5 to 20 millimeters in Daegu, Gyeongbuk (excluding northwestern inland, northeastern inland, and northeastern mountainous areas), Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and 5 to 10 millimeters in Gangwon's eastern coast.

In the mountainous areas of Gangwon and inland, it may snow instead of rain from late night on the 12th, with expected snowfall of 1 to 5 centimeters in the mountains and around 1 centimeter in the inland.

Rainfall is also expected on the 14th.

From the dawn of the 14th, rain or snow will start falling from the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungcheong, and northern inland of Gyeongsangbuk-do. It will expand to Gangwon's eastern coast, Honam, and western inland of Gyeongsangbuk-do in the morning, and to Gyeongsangnam-do in the afternoon before stopping at night.

The precipitation is expected to be 5 to 20 millimeters in eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and Chungbuk, 5 to 10 millimeters in Seoul, Incheon, western Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, Honam, northwestern inland and northeastern inland of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and around 5 millimeters in the five islands of the west sea, Gangwon's eastern coast, Daegu, Gyeongbuk (excluding northwestern inland, northeastern inland, and northeastern mountainous areas), Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

Snowfall is expected to be 1 to 5 centimeters in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and around 1 centimeter in northeastern Gyeonggi, inland of Gangwon, northwestern inland of Gyeongbuk, northeastern inland of Gyeongbuk, and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.

The upcoming rain and snow will come with strong winds, thunder, and lightning. The wind will be strong, making the apparent temperature lower than the actual temperature.

There will be strong winds of 30 to 60 kilometers per hour and wave heights of 1 to 4 meters across most of the seas. In the southern waters of the western sea, southern waters of Jeju, and the outer southern waters of the southern sea, wave heights may exceed 5 meters.
