The court announced on the 11th that former President Yoon Suk-yeol will be able to go directly from the underground parking lot to the courtroom when he attends the first trial for the 'leader of insurrection charges' on the 14th. This decision is based on the assessment that supporters and opponents may gather at the courthouse, causing confusion.

The Seoul High Court stated that "Former President Yoon will be allowed to enter and exit through the courthouse underground parking lot when he appears in court on the 14th." Previously, Yoon's side had requested the court to allow access to the underground parking lot on the day of the trial.

The court said, "This is not a privilege for former President Yoon but a decision for the protection of the courthouse." The prosecutor in charge of the trial on that day is also expected to use the underground parking lot. The court further noted, "We will review whether to continue allowing (Former President Yoon's) access to the underground parking lot at an appropriate time in the future."

The 25th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Director General Ji Gwi-yeon) is set to hold the first formal trial on the 14th to determine the guilt or innocence of former President Yoon regarding the insurrection leader charges. The defendant is required to appear on the trial date, so it is expected that former President Yoon will attend the courtroom.

The court stated, "There have been numerous reports of gatherings near the courthouse on the day of former President Yoon's criminal trial, indicating the possibility of large crowds," and announced plans to strengthen security at the courthouse.

The court will completely prohibit the entry of general vehicles (including litigants and attorneys) into the Seoul Court Comprehensive Building, except for essential service vehicles, from 8 p.m. on the 14th until midnight.

Additionally, some entrances of the courthouse will be closed on the 14th, and enhanced security checks will be conducted at the entrance. A Seoul High Court official stated, "Parties to the trial or individuals related to the case should prepare in advance to ensure timely entry, considering crowding near the courthouse and search times, so that there are no delays on the scheduled date."

Furthermore, all gatherings and protests are prohibited within the courthouse. Entry may be restricted if individuals are found with items related to gatherings or protests. Additionally, no photography can be conducted without prior permission from a Seoul High Court official.
