As forest fires continue in North and South Gyeongsang provinces, rain is expected on Thursday, the 27th.
On the 26th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that rain would fall nationwide until tomorrow afternoon, with the southern regions and Jeju Island experiencing rain until the night.
From dawn until the morning, North and South Gyeongsang inland will show a lull, while the Jeolla and Gyeongsang regions will experience rain until the night.
The expected rainfall by region is ▲Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the five islands in the West Sea 5-20 mm ▲Gangwon Yeongseo 5-10 mm ▲Gangwon Yeongdong less than 5 mm ▲Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk 5-10 mm ▲Gwangju, Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk 5-10 mm ▲Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (excluding western inland) 5-10 mm ▲Daegu, North Gyeongsang, western Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo less than 5 mm ▲Jeju Island 5-30 mm.
However, winds are expected to continue. In most regions of the country, winds will blow strongly at momentary wind speeds of around 55 km/h (15 m/s). In particular, Jeju Island is expected to experience momentary wind speeds exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s) in the early morning.
Temperatures are expected to decrease with the rain. The expected morning low temperatures in major regions are Seoul 13 degrees, Incheon 10 degrees, Suwon 11 degrees, Chuncheon 11 degrees, Gangneung 10 degrees, Cheongju 16 degrees, Daejeon 16 degrees, Jeonju 17 degrees, Gwangju 16 degrees, Daegu 17 degrees, Busan 14 degrees, and Jeju 18 degrees.
The expected high temperatures during the day are Seoul 19 degrees, Incheon 16 degrees, Suwon 18 degrees, Chuncheon 20 degrees, Gangneung 19 degrees, Cheongju 19 degrees, Daejeon 19 degrees, Jeonju 18 degrees, Gwangju 18 degrees, Daegu 24 degrees, Busan 18 degrees, and Jeju 22 degrees.
The fine dust concentration is expected to be at a level of 'moderate' to 'bad' in most regions across the country.
