The wildfire, which started in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, is spreading for the fourth day and has also reached Cheongsong, extending to Juwangsan National Park and Yongyang, Yeongdeok.

On the 25th, forestry authorities reported that embers had spread to Juwangsan National Park in Cheongsong County and Seokbo-myeon in Yongyang County, as well as Jipum-myeon in Yeongdeok County. The phenomenon of embers spreading refers to the process where embers are carried by strong winds.

By the morning of that day, Juwangsan National Park in Cheongsong, which was about 20 kilometers away from the wildfire, was reported to have caught fire due to strong winds that began blowing in the afternoon.

The fierce flames spread beyond Cheongsong, driven by the strong winds, to Seokbo-myeon in Yongyang and Jipum-myeon in Yeongdeok. Around 6:47 p.m., the Yongyang County government issued an evacuation order for residents of Seokbo-myeon to evacuate to the Yongyang-eup Community Center. At approximately 7:09 p.m., the Yeongdeok County government notified citizens through a disaster safety text message that 'Traffic is being controlled on Provincial Route 911, along the section from Hwangjang-ri in Jipum-myeon to Hwamae-ri in Seokbo-myeon' and requested that they refrain from traveling.
