The Ministry of Employment and Labor noted on the 24th that it will begin recruiting 'outstanding corporations for work-life balance in South Korea' from the 25th.

Outstanding corporations for work-life balance will be selected by evaluating the use of flexible working arrangements, reduction of working hours, vacation usage, work-life balance, and other working methods and cultures by joint efforts of central government ministries and economic organizations. Once selected as outstanding corporations, they can receive incentives for three years, including ▲ exemption from regular labor inspections ▲ deferral of tax audits ▲ preferential interest rates ▲ preferential immigration treatment.

Corporations wishing to participate can apply online on the Labor-Management Development Foundation website by June 5. After this, written evaluations (July) and on-site inspections (August to October) will be conducted, and outstanding corporations will be selected during the final evaluation in November.
