As speculation rises that the Constitutional Court's ruling on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol is imminent, pro- and anti-impeachment groups will hold large-scale rallies across downtown Seoul on the 22nd.

The civic group "Emergency Action for Immediate Resignation of Yoon Suk-yeol and Social Reform" will hold a large-scale rally in front of the Dong-sipja-gak in Gwanghwamun starting at 5 p.m. that day. Emergency Action announced that up to 1 million participants would attend, while the number reported to the police is 100,000.

At noon, the Democratic Party will hold a "National Reporting Conference March" and march from the National Assembly to the Gyeongbokgung Museum. The reported number of participants is 500.

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions will also hold a "Nationwide Simultaneous Rally" urging the impeachment of President Yoon starting at 3:50 p.m. at the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office.

Meanwhile, rallies opposing the impeachment of President Yoon will also be held by conservative forces. The Liberty Unification Party will hold a large-scale rally in the Gwanghwamun area starting at 1 p.m., while the conservative Christian group Save Korea will do so around the Yeouido National Assembly. The number reported to the police is 200,000 for the first and 20,000 for the latter.

Supporters of President Yoon, gathered in the "Presidential National Defense Attorney Group," stated they will hold an anti-impeachment rally in front of exit 3 of Anguk Station near the Constitutional Court at 6:30 p.m. It is expected that a tent protest by supporters of President Yoon will continue in front of the Constitutional Court's main gate.
