The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted on the 10th that the daytime high temperature will rise to 18 degrees this week, leading to mild spring weather. Light rain is expected in various areas of the southern region.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be between 12 degrees and 18 degrees on the 11th, between 10 degrees and 18 degrees on the 12th, between 11 degrees and 18 degrees on the 13th, and between 7 degrees and 18 degrees from the 14th to the 16th. The Korea Meteorological Administration noted, "The temperature difference between day and night in the inland areas could reach around 15 degrees, so attention should be paid to health management during the change of seasons."
The country is expected to experience rain due to a low-pressure system passing over the sea south of Jeju. Jeju is forecasted to receive 5 to 20 mm of rain daily from the night of that day until the 12th. Expected precipitation elsewhere includes 5 mm on the southern coast of Jeollanam-do and western Gyeongsangnam-do on the 11th and 1 mm in Gangwon-do, Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do on the 12th.
Dense fog is also present that morning. In the area of Pyeongyang Gun in Gyeonggi Province, visibility has decreased to 80 meters. Generally, visibility is considered difficult to secure when it is less than 1 km due to fog. Furthermore, the visibility is 100 meters on Baengnyeong Island and 200 meters along the central west coast. Incheon International Airport and Gwangju Airport issued low visibility alerts when visibility drops below 400 meters. The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Please be cautious as fog is dense over the West Sea, which may affect navigation and fishing operations."
