Law firm Hwawoo (Chief Attorney Lee Myung-soo) announced that it has recruited former Seoul Central District Court Director General Lee Oh-young (29th Judicial Research and Training Institute), former Seoul Administrative Court Director General Park Jung-dae (31st), and former Suwon High Court Chief Judge Park Dong-bok (35th) as partner attorneys.
According to Hwawoo on the 4th, Attorney Lee Oh-young graduated top of his class from the Sogang University Law School and began his judicial career in 2000 as a judge at the Seoul District Court. He recently served as the presiding judge of the construction division of the Seoul Central District Court for the past four years. In 2023, he was recognized as a specialized construction judge. Attorney Lee also served as a writing committee member for the construction appraisal manual published by the court administration and as the chair of the writing committee for the construction trial practical manual, which is primarily referenced by judges.
Attorney Park Jung-dae graduated from Yonsei University Law School and obtained a master's degree in corporate law from Yonsei University Graduate School. He worked as a research judge for the Supreme Court's criminal working group, specializing in labor administration cases, while also serving as the secretary of the Supreme Court Labor Law Practice Research Group. He handled administrative cases for seven years, working in the administrative divisions of both the district and high courts and serving as a Director General at the Seoul Administrative Court before retirement.
Attorney Park Dong-bok graduated top of his class from the 16th class of the Police University and obtained a master's degree in constitutional law from Seoul National University Graduate School through an education dispatch. Attorney Park began his judicial career at the Changwon District Court and worked as a judge in the criminal divisions of the Suwon District Court, Seoul Central District Court, Seoul Southern District Court, and Suwon High Court. He recently served as a high court judge at the Suwon High Court for the past four years, overseeing appeals in various litigation cases, including criminal, civil, and administrative matters.
Hwawoo also recruited former Director Generals Lee Dong-geun, Hwang Jae-ho, and Yoo Seong-wook last year.
