The Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources announced that it will hold a 'Dinosaur Footprints' experience program in celebration of 'Science Month' on April 12 and 19 at the first-floor exhibition hall of the geological museum. 'Dinosaur Footprints' is an experiential program that allows participants from elementary school students to adults to directly experience dinosaur research and learn about the world of paleontology by following the footprints of dinosaurs. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via email from 10 a.m. on March 18 to 5 p.m. on March 30.

The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) noted that it held a discussion meeting at the National Assembly Member's Hall on the 17th for the legislation to promote 'national research data management and utilization.' The meeting was hosted by Representative Park Chung-kwon of the People Power Party and organized by KISTI. Representative Park proposed the 'Bill on the Promotion of National Research Data Management and Utilization' last July. This bill aims to provide a legal basis for the systematic accumulation and public sharing of research data.

The Institute for Basic Science announced that it successfully held the World Mathematics Day event on March 15. More than 200 elementary school students and over 100 parents attended the event, which involved participation from both current and former researchers of the institute. Discussions such as 'Conversations with Mathematicians' with Professor Ra Joon-hyun from the Institute for Basic Science, Dr. Lee Cheol-hee from the Heo Joon Mathematics Problems Research Institute, and Professor Shin Yong-hyun from Sookmyung Women's University took place, addressing various concerns from parents regarding mathematics education and the responses from mathematicians.

Corporations Norma announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the domestic gaming company NEOWIZ regarding the development of games using quantum computing. Norma and NEOWIZ agreed to apply quantum computing and quantum algorithms in the gaming field and to collaborate on the commercialization of quantum computing. They plan to hold joint workshops and seminars in the future.
