On the 10th, Seoul National University College of Engineering announced that it has signed a business agreement for industry-academic cooperation with Samsung Heavy Industries on the Gwanak campus to establish a sustainable partnership and organic cooperation system in the shipbuilding and related industries. Through this agreement, Seoul National University College of Engineering and Samsung Heavy Industries plan to collaborate for the next five years to acquire the latest shipbuilding and marine technology in preparation for the future, and to jointly carry out industry-academic projects and research in various fields including shipbuilding and marine, automation, processes, nuclear power, and artificial intelligence (AI).

On the 10th, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) held a ceremony to commemorate the establishment of High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure for the KISTI-ASEAN data utilization at the Indonesia Research and Innovation Agency in Jakarta, Indonesia. This project will be conducted over four years from September 2024 to 2028 with a scale of 14.7 billion won, supported by the Korea-ASEAN cooperation fund provided by the Korean government. The goal is to provide an ultra-high-performance computer-based utilization environment to ASEAN member countries.

Starting from the 11th, the Korea Industrial Technology Association announced it will hold '2025 Spring Semester CTO University Special Lectures' targeting science and engineering students from Korea University, Sookmyung Women's University, and Hongik University. The CTO university special lectures are conducted in the format of lectures by current and former Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) of corporations to foster science and engineering talents. This special lecture will feature speakers including Lee Hyun-soon, adviser at Doosan, Hong Sung-joo, director of the Korea Semiconductor Academy, and Lee Hak-sung, adviser at LG Energy Solution.

In celebration of 'World Mathematics Day', the Institute for Basic Science announced that it will hold lectures and experience events for elementary school students at the auditorium of Building 1 on the Seoul campus of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) on the 15th. This event will be conducted by inviting students from elementary schools located in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
