The Korea Aerospace Research Agency announced on the 27th that it held a research and development (R&D)成果發表會 at Drone Show Korea (DSK) 2025, which took place at BEXCO in Busan. The event featured the announcement of achievements, including drone sensor data standardization technology, the world's first developed and designated as an international standard, intelligent countermeasures against illegal drones, and long-range drone application communication technology. Kim Hyun-dae, head of the Aerospace Agency's Aviation Innovation Division, noted, "I hope that the achievements presented today will become core technologies that can reduce the technological gap with leading countries in the drone sector and enhance global competitiveness."

The Korea Polar Research Institute announced on the 26th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with COSMAX BTI at the Incheon Songdo Polar Research Institute. Approximately 10 people attended the signing ceremony, including Shin Hyeong-cheol, head of the Polar Research Institute, and Kang Seung-hyun, deputy head of the COSMAX BTI R&I Center. The Polar Research Institute will provide useful microbial resources discovered in polar regions, while COSMAX BTI will develop them into cosmetic materials. The two organizations plan to cooperate in areas such as the discovery of useful microbial resources in polar regions, cosmetic development, research on skin microbiome behavior due to exposure to polar environments, industrialization of polar bio-based technology development results, and material safety verification and regulation.

The Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) announced on the 27th that it held a "Hydrogen Economy Expert Seminar" at COEX in Seoul. In his keynote speech, Lee Sang-mok, president of KITECH, presented the vision of the hydrogen economy by suggesting the green transition (GX) of hydrogen and the manufacturing industry, stating that efforts would focus on securing the stability of hydrogen energy supply. Following that, four demand corporations, Hyundai Motor, POSCO, Dentons Lee, and Hynet, presented the current status and challenges of technology development in their respective fields of hydrogen mobility, steel, hydrogen power generation, and hydrogen refueling stations. KITECH proposed a strategy to the government to promote the commercialization of the entire hydrogen cycle centered on demonstration.

The Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) will host the 462nd STEPI Science and Technology Policy Forum on March 6 at the Seoul Science and Technology Convention Center. This forum has been organized to explore a new paradigm for nurturing talent in science and technology in South Korea through structural innovation and international cooperation in domestic STEM graduate schools. The event will begin with a presentation by Park Ki-beom, senior researcher at STEPI, on "Innovative Measures for Transitioning the Paradigm of Nurturing Science and Technology Talent in STEM Graduate Schools," followed by a presentation by Kim Ji-hyun, STEPI researcher, on "Strategic Utilization of ODA for Nurturing and Exchanging Science and Technology Talent," culminating in a panel discussion.
