OTOKI announced on the 20th that starting from next month, the shipping prices of 16 ramen products, including Jin Ramen, will increase by an average of 7.5%. This is the first increase in ramen prices in 2 years and 5 months since the last adjustment in October 2022.

Based on pricing at large discount stores, Jin Ramen will rise from 716 won to 790 won. Odongtong Myeon will increase from 800 won to 836 won, and Jjasullae will rise from 976 won to 1,056 won. The price of Jin Ramen cups will increase from 1,100 won to 1,200 won.

OTOKI plans to continue discount events for major ramen products at large discount stores, convenience stores, and online to minimize the burden on consumers caused by this price increase.

An OTOKI official noted, "Recent increases in exchange rates have led to a surge in the prices of imported materials such as palm oil, while prices of agricultural products continue to rise, and utility expenses and labor costs have also increased. Due to accumulated cost burdens, we made the unavoidable decision to raise prices."
