According to CJ Group on that day, this medical service is the third in Vietnam following those in 2015 and last year. About 30 employees from CJ CheilJedang, volunteers from Woncheon Baptist Church, medical staff, pharmacists, and beauticians provided medical consultations and prescriptions to 500 residents of Tam Ngua Village, along with dispensing medicines and personal hygiene education. On the last day of service, 500 sets of uniforms and backpacks prepared from donations by CJ Olive Young were delivered to elementary school students.

A CJ Group official noted, "Ninh Thuan Province is one of the areas where the proportion of ethnic minorities is high in Vietnam, and the living conditions are underdeveloped, making it difficult for women to receive adequate education," adding, "The uniform donation is part of a community awareness improvement program that emphasizes the need for children's and women's education."

Earlier, CJ Group worked with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to support a project for growing chili peppers to enhance rural self-sustainability and increase agricultural income in Ninh Thuan Province.

Additionally, CJ Group has been conducting a "Girl Education Campaign" primarily focused on developing countries since signing a strategic agreement with UNESCO in 2014. Since 2019, it has been improving educational environments and perceptions for ethnic minority girls in Vietnam and expanding employment opportunities through the "CJ-UNESCO Vietnam Girl Education Project" in collaboration with the UNESCO Vietnam office.
