The E-land Cultural Foundation announced on the 30th that it will hold a special multimedia exhibition titled "The City Engraved on Time" at the Dapsimni Art Lab in the Dapsimni Antique Market from next month, 1st to 27th.

This is the largest multimedia exhibition in the city, covering an area of 1,090 square meters (330 pyeong) with participation from 38 artists. Media artist Jeong Jeong-joo, who studied sculpture at Hongik University and has been engaged in various forms of installation work in Seoul, Japan, China, and Belgium since 2002, is the overall curator.

Thirty-seven artists will showcase multimedia art pieces. The exhibition highlights the irony of the Dapsimni area, which holds historical traces within the futuristic scenery of the city that connects Cheongnyangni to Dapsimni.

The artists address the sense of alienation they experience in the city, presenting the beauty through dramatic contrasts such as the vastness of the city versus the trivialities of everyday life, the sensation of speed versus halted time, tranquility amidst noise, and the fullness of objects against emptiness in urban spaces.

The Dapsimni Art Lab, which was originally the location of the early E-land fashion headquarters, has transformed into a space that supports the creative activities of young artists.
