Samlip announced on the 14th that its Samlip steamed buns are now available at the 'T&Ts' market operated by Canada's Loblaws distribution group.

According to Samlip, the Samlip steamed buns will be sold in all 40 T&T stores in Canada starting in March. T&T is a well-known Asian grocery chain in Canada. Samlip noted that visits from local Canadians have significantly increased recently, as K-food gains global popularity.

Samlip plans to sell three types of steamed buns in Canada: sweet red bean, sweet potato, and anko butter.

Samlip is exporting steamed buns to 22 countries, including the United States, Canada, and Australia. In particular, they are strengthening their market penetration in the United States, focusing on stores like H Mart. Last year, the export value of Samlip steamed buns to the United States rose by 40% compared to the transfer year.

Domestically, they have hired national table tennis player Shin Yu-bin as a model. They are releasing products under three themes: 'spicy' (辛), 'new' (New), and the red bean representing steamed buns (Bean). Notably, the 'Peep' steamed buns (scrambled egg steamed buns and chocolate banana steamed buns) developed directly by Shin Yu-bin are popular, according to Samlip.

A Samlip official said, 'With the entry into large Canadian distribution centers following the United States, we are gearing up for overseas sales of Samlip steamed buns and expect a 30% growth in export value compared to the previous year.'
