Park Soon-ho, chairman of the Sejong Group, stated on the 2nd through his New Year address that "2025 will be a year of major innovation for the Sejong Group's business portfolio."
Chairman Park is confident that while last year, which marked the 50th anniversary of the founding, was "the year that took the first steps toward becoming a 100-year corporation," this year will present new opportunities to showcase the potential of the Sejong Group by agilely responding to changes such as uncertainties in the global economy and the acceleration of digital transformation.
To this end, Chairman Park presented three key strategies for the group. The main strategies include redefining the unique experience and value of the brand, changing item composition and managing inventory turnover for brand freshness, enhancing creative thinking through the integration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), and innovating work methods centered around high-value-added activities.
Based on these strategies, he emphasized promoting "DT (Digital Transformation) management" to enhance business value through the integration of new technologies while focusing on rapid business development and strengthening expertise through "responsible management." He also urged that preparing a foundation for mutual growth within the group's institutional sectors and sustainable growth should continue.
Chairman Park encouraged employees by saying, "Above all, let us build the foundation of a 100-year corporation with the spirit of 'Sejong people' by putting customers at the center, acting swiftly, and normalizing change and innovation to design a sustainable future." He added, "If we proceed diligently and quietly with sharp insights looking towards the future, this year will be an opportunity to leap toward higher goals."
