SPC Group's Paris Baguette opened its 9th location in Coquitlam and 10th location on Alberni Street in Vancouver, Canada, the company announced on the 26th.
According to SPC on that day, nearly 100 people lined up before the store opened at the Coquitlam location on the 20th (local time). About 4,500 breads and cakes were sold throughout the day.
The Vancouver stores showcased representative menu items such as the French apple pie, chausson aux pommes, along with pastries like pain au chocolat and feuilleté au chocolat, and North America's popular product, cream cake.
The Coquitlam area in Vancouver is gaining attention as a future business district due to high foot traffic and ongoing urban development projects. Alberni Street, located in downtown Vancouver, features a shopping district lined with luxury brand stores and hotels. Paris Baguette plans to expand its stores throughout the city of Vancouver, using Coquitlam and Alberni Street as bases.
