Hyundai E&C announced on the 28th that it will hold the '2025 Hyundai E&C x Seoul Startup Open Innovation' contest in collaboration with the Seoul Business Agency, a startup support organization in Seoul.

Selection will be carried out through document reviews and face-to-face assessments, with plans to select around 10 startups by the end of June this year. Selected startups will receive ▲technology verification (PoC) opportunities and commercialization support funds ▲joint product development and new business review ▲opportunities for participation in follow-up support projects ▲global expansion opportunities ▲investment review ▲promotion support (demo day and exhibition participation), among other benefits.
Hyundai E&C plans to engage in various follow-up support to ensure stable growth and a sustainable cooperation foundation for the selected startups. To this end, it is participating in a variety of startup support projects, including the Seoul-type R&D support project, startup leap package support project, and the ultra-gap startup nurturing project (DIPS 1000+), in collaboration with domestic startup support organizations such as the Seoul Business Agency, Korea Startup Agency, startup-centric universities, and the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center.
A representative from Hyundai E&C noted, "This contest was set up to discover startups that will lead innovation in the construction industry and to expand opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation," and added, "We will continue to work closely with promising startups to contribute to the spread of an ecosystem where large corporations and startups in the construction industry grow together."
