Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 12th that it will conduct on-site inspections to prevent safety accidents at facilities and construction sites under its management during the thawing period.
SH Corporation will initiate safety inspections of facilities from the 7th of last month to the 28th, a total of seven weeks, to proactively identify risk factors during the thawing period and prevent safety accidents through external experts and its own inspection teams.
The safety inspection targets during the thawing period include 16 construction sites and 23 facilities such as retaining walls.
On this day, President Hwang Sang-ha visited the Gwanak Baek San Blooming and Gwanak Dream Town apartment complexes to check the safety management system in preparation for the thawing period, including the condition of retaining wall facilities. President Hwang diagnosed the ▲ condition of retaining wall facilities ▲ status of monitoring management ▲ status of safety inspections.
President Hwang noted, "During the thawing period, concerns about safety accidents at various facilities in rental apartments and construction sites increase, so it is essential to strengthen preliminary safety inspections to ensure accident prevention," and added, "Those in charge of construction sites currently implementing road work, retaining walls, stone walls, slopes, underground spaces, and excavation work should do their best in safety inspections during the thawing period."
