Koo Yun-cheol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, said, "We will provide all-out support so that our corporations can secure the lead in advanced industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors."
Koo, the deputy prime minister, said at the Economic Ministers' Meeting and Growth Strategy Task Force (TF) meeting on the 4th, "We are living in an era of a rapidly unfolding AI revolution," adding, "The pace is so fast it makes you feel dizzy."
He went on to say, "The new continent called AI is not a space for a few explorers, but a place where all of us will have to live going forward," adding, "We will overhaul systems so that AI and technological innovation can take root in every corner of our economy and society."
Meanwhile, at the meeting that day, the following were discussed: ▲ plans to promote a national agriculture AX (AI transformation) platform ▲ measures to lead the activation of the AI industry through public procurement ▲ plans to reform the KS certification system.
