The publisher 'Medici Media' announced on the 25th through a press release that "'The People Come First' is a record of the 14 days that Han Dong-hoon personally witnessed and experienced at the historical site" and noted that it includes reflections on being ousted from the party leadership just 14 days after the martial law was imposed.

The publisher stated, "The author soberly acknowledges his shortcomings regarding regretful moments and reflects on what might have been if things had been done differently" and adds that he openly shares his feelings about the process where a structured early resignation plan was frustrated and the reasons he had no choice but to support the impeachment afterward.

The book also reportedly contains human feelings of sorrow and regret about President Yoon. The publisher noted that former leader Han said through the book, "Although the human anguish was great, a politician must always put the people first, leading him to prioritize public good over private relationships."

Former leader Han also emphasized in the book a desperate sense that "the Yoon Seok-yeol administration should not come to power under any circumstances."

The publisher noted, "The author claims that the most dangerous person in Korea is Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, and predicts that if Lee Seok-yeol takes control over the executive branch, he could resort to extreme measures such as martial law or amendments to penal regulations to prevent judicial guilty verdicts," adding, "The author proposes that we should traverse the sea of martial law to prevent the emergence of the Lee Jae-myung administration."

In the latter part of the book, former leader Han depicts his vision for the future of South Korea. The publisher mentioned, "As a conservative who has upheld liberal democracy, he emphasizes his political philosophy, particularly evaluating the achievements of former President Syngman Rhee, who implemented land reform, and argues why conservatives must prevail at this moment."

Towards the end of the book, former leader Han presents the direction South Korea should aim for.

The publisher explained, "In the era of AI transformation (AX:AI Transformation) that surpasses the industrial revolution, Han Dong-hoon presents his unique solutions on what we will use to create growth momentum and how we will create a virtuous cycle structure of growth and welfare."
