Han Gi-jung, the Chairperson of the Fair Trade Commission, said on the 19th regarding the allegations of collusion related to the loan-to-value ratio (LTV) of real estate loans from commercial banks that "the Fair Trade Commission is addressing the information-sharing collusion issue," adding, "There are regulatory provisions that can support the argument that information sharing can also constitute collusion."

During a full meeting of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee, Chairperson Han responded to a question from Kim Jae-seop, a member of the People Power Party, stating that "there should be neither overregulation nor underregulation, so we will ensure that the review is conducted reasonably."

He stated, "We conducted an investigation, and then we reviewed it, and during the review process, new issues that were not addressed in the preliminary examination report have emerged, and we are re-examining those issues."

He added, "We will ensure that the review can be conducted reasonably."
