The in-house LLM 'adot X (A.X),' introduced by SK Telecom in 2022, is a high-performance, highly efficient Korean-language specialized LLM. Its applications have expanded to include B2B solutions like 'adot Biz,' and the 'adot X 4.0' model, which is expected to be completed in the first half of the year, will continuously enhance the competitiveness of our LLM through developments in conversation and multimodal capabilities.
The SK AI R&D Center, established by SK Telecom at the end of last year, is functioning as the group's 'AI brain' to promote AI innovation throughout the group, aiming to spearhead next-generation AI technology development by consolidating the AI capabilities of its member companies.
SK Telecom is strengthening its global partnerships with companies in the 'Global Telco AI Alliance,' including Deutsche Telekom, E& Group, Singtel Group, and SoftBank, as well as global AI companies such as Anthropic, Purplecity, Lambda, and Penguin Solutions.
