The average annual salary of employees at major domestic system integration (SI) corporations has generally increased. In particular, Hyundai AutoEver and Hanwha Systems joined the '10 million won salary club' for the first time last year. The average salary of these corporations sharply rose in the 2020s but saw a decline in growth in 2023. Since last year, the acceleration of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud transition has brought about a resurgence in the upward trend.

According to the 2024 business report disclosed on the Financial Supervisory Service electronic disclosure system on the 23rd, the average salary per employee at Samsung SDS (excluding registered executives) was 134 million won, an increase of 4 million won from the previous year. This contrasts with the average salary in 2023, which decreased by 1 million won compared to the previous year.

Last year, the average salary per employee at LG CNS was 116 million won, up 5 million won from the previous year. This marks an increase compared to a rise of 2 million won in 2023.

Hyundai AutoEver joined the '10 million won salary club' for the first time with an average salary of 101 million won, increasing by 7 million won compared to the previous year. This is believed to be due to an increased demand for skilled IT personnel amid the acceleration of digital transformation, such as autonomous driving.

The average salary at Hanwha Systems also rose by 8 million won to 100 million won, entering the ranks of the 10 million won salaries. The average salary at Hanwha Systems has increased by about 20 million won from 80 million won in 2020 in just four years. LOTTE Innovate reported an average salary of 80 million won, which is an increase of 7 million won from the previous year. While it has not reached the 10 million won salary, it has steadily risen by 4 million to 7 million won each year over the past five years.

Last year, the average salary at POSCO DX was 101 million won, a decrease of 9 million won from 110 million won in 2023. In the case of SK C&C, the exact amount has not been disclosed as it is not a listed company. According to the consolidated business report of SK Group Holdings and SK Holdings, the average salary last year was reported at 116 million won, down 3 million won from the previous year.
