The development team of the upcoming life simulation game 'inZOI' from KRAFTON subsidiary Enjoy Studio announced, “We will release the game in early access on the 28th and unveil the demo version starting on the 20th.”
Kim Hyeong-jun, CEO of Enjoy Studio and general director of 'inZOI', noted this during an online showcase held on the 19th.
'inZOI' is a life simulation game where players become new employees at a company managing virtual reality, controlling and observing characters called 'Joy' who interact with various desires and thoughts like humans.
'inZOI' actively incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It offers various AI-based creative tools, including a '3D printer' feature that creates 3D objects based on images, 'video to motion' that creates character movements from uploaded videos, and 'text to image' that generates images from prompts.
The technology 'Smart Joy (ZOI)' integrated into 'inZOI' allows users to directly configure the character's personality through prompts, enabling observation of the character's internal changes and actions.
CEO Kim emphasized, “'inZOI' has the best compatibility with AI among existing games,” and stated, “It will offer much deeper and more realistic AI-based interactions than ordinary games.”
The developers set the price for 'inZOI' at 44,800 won ($39.99) for early access. A demo version called 'inZOI: Creative Studio', where users can experience character creation and construction features, will be available for free from the 20th to the 27th. The official release of the early access version will be on the 28th at 9 a.m. (Korea time).
CEO Kim noted, “We will provide all updates and downloadable content (DLC) for free until the official launch,” and added, “In May, we will reveal some features related to mod (modification files used to alter or add new content to the game) creation, and we will continue to add new content such as furniture and outfits every three months.”
Regarding the addition of online multiplayer features, he explained, “If many users want it, we will develop it,” but noted, “It will be difficult to share all simulations within the game; however, it is possible to explore another player's house or have some degree of chatting.”
