KT announced on the 16th that it held the launch ceremony for the 2025 KT Youth Council 'Blue Board' at the KT Gwanghwamun Building East in Jongno District, Seoul. Employees selected for the Blue Board will play a leading role as KT's AICT supporters, driving the expansion of AX both internally and externally.

The Blue Board is a representative corporate culture enhancement program that KT has operated for 25 years since 2001. Employees in their 2030s participating in the Blue Board will generate ideas that can innovate the company's management, services, and core business, and will implement these ideas in practice.

KT set the slogan for this year's Blue Board activities as 'KT, between innovation and growth' and selected 86 Director-level employees under the age of 39. This year, the Blue Board plans to focus all capabilities and resources on expanding AX across various industries based on AICT competitiveness, conducting the 'AX working method expansion' project to widen the use of work innovation tools, including Microsoft (MS) Copilot. Externally, they plan to support the enhancement of AX capabilities for vulnerable groups as AICT supporters, engaging in various activities to enhance ESG (environmental, social, and governance) values in the community.

O Tae-seong, head of KT's ESG Management Promotion Office (Executive Director), said, 'I expect the Blue Board to play an important role in expanding the overall capacity of the company by enabling employees in their 2030s to acquire new technologies and present better ideas based on the diverse AX capabilities they possess, thereby providing better value to customers.'
