LG Uplus announced on the 16th that it has opened an offline store specialized in sports goods to coincide with the start of the professional baseball season. By collaborating with the LG Twins, it aims to sell various professional baseball merchandise and provide differentiated customer experiences for sports fan customers.
The first store is located in Seoul's Jamsil-dong, near Jamsil Baseball Stadium, and is called the "Daily Gap Jamsil Saenae Direct Store." LG Uplus has transformed the existing Daily Gap Jamsil Saenae Direct Store into a sports goods specialty store. "Daily Gap" is an experiential store where customers can directly experience a variety of products and services, with 28 stores operating nationwide.
The newly opened "Daily Gap Jamsil Saenae Direct Store" will offer communication product sales and consulting services while operating as a "shop-in-shop" that sells LG Twins uniforms and merchandise. It is characterized by providing a one-stop solution for selling various goods, including uniforms scattered throughout the professional baseball stadium.
Through the specialized sports goods store, baseball fan customers are expected to conveniently access services from purchasing uniforms to marking and badge attachment. In particular, the Daily Gap is expected to improve the convenience of sports fans by allowing visitors to purchase desired products immediately without long waits.
In addition to merchandise sales, LG Uplus plans to set up photo card kiosks in the store so that sports fans can enjoy their time there.
In the future, LG Uplus plans to expand collaborations with characters it possesses and the LG Twins to produce various exclusive merchandise and to expand sports goods specialty stores so that fans from various regions can visit.
