FADU announced on the 13th that it will showcase its "Flex" solid-state drive (SSD) at a technology exhibition to be held in China and Taiwan.

FADU explained that it conducted marketing targeting potential clients at the "China Flash Market Summit (CFMS) 2025" held on the 12th in Shenzhen, China. This year marks the 7th CFMS, which is themed "Reconfiguring the Memory Storage Environment and Value," and features global semiconductor corporations including Samsung Electronics, Micron, and Kioxia.

FADU's Flex SSD is a blend of "Flexible," meaning adaptability, and "solid-state drive (SSD)," which is FADU's flagship business. It is a key strategy for expanding FADU's global operations.

According to FADU, the Flex SSD allows customers to choose production scale, brand, firmware, and hardware according to their needs. It can also optimize and supply firmware and hardware under the client's own brand. For large-scale supply, solutions are provided so that customers can directly select DRAM and NAND flash.

The already launched "Gen5" platform and the "Gen6" controller, scheduled to be released in early 2026, will also be showcased. The Gen6, indicating the 6th generation controller, can transmit data at 28GB (gigabytes) per second, with double the power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
