Larry Page, co-founder of Google, has founded an artificial intelligence (AI) startup, The Information reported on the 6th.
According to the report, Page recently established a new AI startup called "Dynatomics." The specific details of the business have not been disclosed.
The media noted that Page is researching ways to create products using AI in collaboration with a small number of engineers, which would be manufactured in actual factories.
It also added that "Silicon Valley corporations are increasingly showing interest in using AI models to manufacture physical goods."
Page, who co-founded Google with Sergey Brin, served as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Google's parent company Alphabet from 2015 to 2019.
Although he has since stepped back from frontline operations, he remains a member of the Alphabet board. He is also the largest individual shareholder, holding about 5.7% of Alphabet's equity.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Page is ranked 8th among the world's wealthy with an asset value of $156 billion (225.6 trillion won).
Dynatomics is led by Chris Anderson, the former chief technology officer (CTO) of Kitty Hawk, which had pursued a urban air mobility (UAM) project called "flying cars."
Founded in 2010, Kitty Hawk gained attention with investments from Page and collaborations with companies like Boeing, but it shut down in 2022 due to regulatory hurdles and other challenges.
