Samsung is securing foreign talent to enhance its global competitiveness.

According to the industry on the 24th, Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDS, Samsung Biologics, Samsung Bioepis, Samsung C&T, Samsung E&A, and Samsung Heavy Industries have begun recruiting foreign experienced employees in the research and development field starting today.

Applicants must hold a level 3 or higher in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), and those with at least 2 years of relevant experience after obtaining a bachelor's degree will be preferred. For those with a master's or doctoral degree (or expected), the period of study will be recognized as the period of experience.

Final candidates will be determined after document screening, interviews, and health examinations, and the final selected foreign employees will carry out their duties under the same conditions as domestic employees at the respective business sites.

This is the fourth recruitment of foreign experienced employees to work in Korea. Samsung introduced a recruitment system for foreign experienced employees wishing to work domestically in August 2023, separate from its global recruiting activities to secure outstanding R&D talent.

At that time, Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, and Samsung SDI participated. Last year, the number of participating companies increased to 10, and this year, a total of 10 companies are participating.
