The mobility platform 'Tada' operator VC announced on the 10th that it has been selected as the operator for the 'Seoul Mom and Dad Taxi' project in 2025.

The Seoul Mom and Dad Taxi is a project promoted by the Seoul City as part of the 'Birth Support Seoul Project' Season 2. Anyone residing in all 25 districts of Seoul and raising children under 24 months can apply. Applications can be submitted from the 24th on the comprehensive platform 'Mongtang Information All-in-One Key' website.

Choosing Tada will allow one to receive up to 120,000 won of Tada credit for each infant. The credit is a reward that can be used like cash on the Tada application (app). The Seoul City supports 100,000 won, while Tada will provide an additional 20,000 won. An immediate 5,000 credit will be given, and there will be an additional 10,000 credit for families with multiple children or single-parent families. If the Seoul City grant of 100,000 won is used entirely within three months, an additional 5,000 credit will be provided.

Tada will deploy large luxury taxis 'Tada Next' for the Seoul Mom and Dad Taxi project. Last year, they gained experience in supporting mobility for families with children through the 'Mom and Dad Tada' promotion and enhanced service quality by regularly scheduling a lineup of 'Tada with Car Seats' that allows real-time calling. Based on this expertise, they will collaborate on the Seoul City project.

For this Seoul Mom and Dad Taxi project, 300 vehicles equipped with premium car seats that can accommodate infants to 12 years old will be operated. The vehicles can be called by reservation as well as in real-time. A notable feature is the ability to set the car seats to a 'rear-facing mode' for the safe transport of young children. Additionally, the vehicles are equipped with side sunshades to provide a more comfortable travel environment.

Tada also noted that it has various facilities considering the convenience and hygiene of vehicle transport. Free Wi-Fi and charging cables are provided, and an electric footstep is installed to ensure that children and parents can safely get in and out. Air purifiers have been installed to improve air quality inside the vehicle, and children's disinfectant spray is also available for car seat and interior hygiene management.
