KT Cloud announced on the 31st that it will enhance its multi-cloud capabilities in collaboration with the U.S. managed cloud service (MSP) corporation Rackspace.
Rackspace is a corporation that launched the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) based open-source cloud project "OpenStack" in partnership with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 2010.
Through this collaboration, KT Cloud plans to develop integrated IaaS that maximizes flexibility and scalability in the cloud environment, and to release a certified version based on cloud-native standard architecture in the second half of this year.
The cloud-native standard architecture can flexibly respond to the infrastructure environment of customer corporations, enhancing operational efficiency and providing expense reduction effects.
KT Cloud plans to apply the architecture to a cloud-exclusive data center scheduled to open this year.
