On the 22nd, POSCO DX announced that it is embarking on the establishment of an "Intelligent Factory" based on industrial artificial intelligence (AI) and robot automation, marking its 15th anniversary, and that it will actively apply this to the group’s core business areas and spread the results.

On the 22nd, POSCO DX held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary with employees at its Pangyo headquarters. In his commemorative speech, President Sim Min-seok emphasized, "Let’s secure differentiated capabilities in the field of digital transformation (DX) to enhance the group’s core business competitiveness and, based on this, create new growth engines to grow into a 50-year, 100-year corporation."

POSCO DX is pushing for a transition to an "Intelligent Factory" that has been advanced through the use of DX technologies such as industrial AI, robots, and digital twins, following the smart factory initiative the group is pursuing.

In particular, this year, the company plans to strengthen its comprehensive engineering capabilities related to robots, such as control and machinery, to establish itself as a core enabler in the fields of AI and robot automation.
