Seoul Semiconductor announced on the 14th that its provisional consolidated revenue for the fourth quarter of last year was approximately 2.9% lower than the same period last year, recording 262.6 billion won.
Seoul Semiconductor noted that it met its fourth-quarter revenue guidance (260 billion to 280 billion won) presented during its conference call in the third quarter of last year. The annual revenue for last year was recorded at 1.0875 trillion won, which is a 5% increase compared to 1.0324 trillion won the previous year.
A representative from Seoul Semiconductor said, "We expect revenue expansion in the automotive and lighting sectors this year through our world-first technology, No-Wire WICOP, and natural light lighting technology 'SunLike.'"
Meanwhile, detailed analysis of last year's fourth-quarter revenue and profits, as well as revenue forecasts for the first quarter of this year, will be announced through a performance announcement conference call and disclosure in February.
