After announcing this on social media, Trump said, "Our economy has been poorly managed for the past four years, and now it's time for a change. Michelle has the know-how to make this happen." He also expressed confidence that we will achieve unprecedented economic growth in U.S. history.

Bowman was appointed as a Federal Reserve board member during Trump's first term in 2018. If confirmed, she will become the first woman to serve as vice chair for supervision. She is known as a prominent advocate for financial deregulation and has opposed strong bank regulations from the Fed.

Additionally, Trump announced his intention to appoint Brian Bedford, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Republic Airways, as the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Trump described him as "a suitable person for the FAA Administrator position due to over 30 years of experience in the aviation field and management leadership.

He added, "Brian, along with Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, will reform the FAA vigorously, protect our exports, and ensure the safety of the nearly 1 billion airline passengers annually."
