Hyundai Motor will launch a global talent recruitment program on its official recruitment website starting April 1. The recruitment program consists of three parts: internships for foreign students residing in Korea, internships for international undergraduate and master's students, and overseas doctoral recruitment in science and engineering.
The internships for foreign students residing in Korea target individuals who have already obtained or are expected to obtain their undergraduate or master's degrees from universities or graduate schools in Korea by February 2026 in four areas: research and development, production/manufacturing, business/planning, and management support.
The internships for international undergraduate and master's students target individuals who have already obtained or are expected to obtain their undergraduate or master's degrees from universities or graduate schools abroad by June 2026 in five areas: research and development, manufacturing software, quality, cybersecurity, and business/planning.
Hyundai Motor will conduct a five-week internship for selected candidates from July to August and will hire outstanding graduates as new employees.
The overseas doctoral recruitment in science and engineering targets individuals who can begin working by August 2026 and who have already obtained or are expected to obtain a doctoral degree in science and engineering from abroad in seven areas: AI/data, batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, smart factories, robotics, advanced air mobility (AAM), and cybersecurity.
Hyundai Motor will conduct document screening for overseas doctoral recruitment applicants in May and the first round of interviews in June. In August, it will invite candidates who pass the first round of interviews to Korea for a technology exchange between applicants in various research fields and current employees, along with a tour of the Hyundai Motor Namyang Research Institute during the 'Hyundai Tech Seminar' to conduct the final interviews.
