In its 34th year, Distributech is the largest exhibition in North America for power distribution and energy, featuring more than 700 global energy and power corporations, including Siemens and General Electric, from 94 countries.

HD Hyundai Electric plans to showcase various products at this exhibition, including distribution transformers, environmentally friendly switchgear, and medium-low voltage circuit breakers. It will also unveil a physical product of the distribution transformer equipped with overvoltage protection technology for the first time. This equipment is optimized for environments that require stable power supply, such as data centers and semiconductor factories. It can prevent failures caused by excessive voltage increases through proprietary protection technology design.

HD Hyundai Electric aims to use this exhibition as a stepping stone to expand its presence in the distribution equipment market. As the use of intermittent energy sources like solar and wind power increases, along with the growth of energy-intensive industries like data centers, the importance of distribution networks, which efficiently supply transmitted power, is also growing.

A representative from HD Hyundai Electric noted, "As the demand for large-scale power sources in industrial plants and data centers increases, the level of customer expectations for the quality and functionality of distribution equipment is also rising. We will enhance customer satisfaction through the latest products to be produced at the Cheongju distribution new plant, which is scheduled for completion at the end of this year, and accelerate our entry into the global distribution market."
