Hyundai Motor Group will hold a developer conference to transition to a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development system and expand the vehicle app ecosystem. Through this event, Hyundai Motor Group aims to showcase the next-generation infotainment app development environment and vehicle app market to mobile app developers and business partners and actively seek collaboration opportunities with them.

Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 24th that it has opened the website for its developer conference, "Pleos 25," which will be held on March 28 at COEX in Seoul, and is recruiting participants.

Pleos is the new software brand launched by Hyundai Motor Group, encompassing the concept of mobility through the collection and connection of data from all movements, devices, and spaces, reflecting the vision and commitment of Hyundai Motor Group. At Pleos 25, Hyundai Motor Group plans to unveil the brand along with key technologies for software-centric vehicle development.

Additionally, Hyundai Motor Group plans to unveil a new open platform at Pleos 25 that will provide software development kits (SDKs), application programming interfaces (APIs), and development environments to enable developers and partners to create next-generation infotainment apps using vehicle data.

Moreover, Hyundai Motor Group developers will conduct technology presentations on topics such as SDV, artificial intelligence (AI), and autonomous driving. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the vehicle app market development environment and participate in hands-on programs utilizing the SDK to develop vehicle apps. Furthermore, Hyundai Motor Group will create an exhibition space to showcase collaborative cases using vehicle data with business partners.

Those wishing to participate in Pleos 25 can visit the website for pre-registration. In particular, hands-on programs related to vehicle app development and SDK utilization will be conducted for those who registered in advance, and only pre-registered individuals will have the opportunity for one-on-one recruitment consultations with Hyundai Motor Group.

A representative from Hyundai Motor Group noted, "We plan to unveil a new software brand and platform, presenting ways to utilize them in development, thereby showcasing the ecosystem of SDV envisioned by Hyundai Motor Group in one glance. We expect the active participation of developers and partners in the journey of creating a new vehicle app ecosystem."
