According to Korea Airport Service and other sources on that day, 271 scheduled flights at Gimhae Airport are expected to operate normally. However, one international flight and four domestic departure flights as well as four arrival flights operated by AIR BUSAN were canceled.

At Gimhae Airport, an incident occurred shortly before takeoff involving AIR BUSAN flight BX391 to Hong Kong, which had 176 people onboard, including 170 passengers and six crew members, at around 10:26 p.m. on the 28th. Passengers and crew members evacuated using emergency slides, but three passengers sustained minor injuries such as abrasions.

Gimhae Airport saw regular operations starting with a landing flight from Phu Quoc, Vietnam, at 6:03 a.m. on that day, followed by a flight to Jeju at 7:02 a.m. The airport is implementing a curfew time that restricts aircraft takeoffs and landings from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. to mitigate aircraft noise issues.

However, they plan to close three parking areas around the fire-damaged aircraft among the 40 aircraft parking spaces and conduct safety inspections of airport facilities. The Gimhae Airport authorities noted that although there have not been significant disruptions to airport operations due to the fire's aftermath, it would be advisable for passengers using AIR BUSAN to check the status of their flights before departure.
