Flex explained that while the existing 'Software as a Service' refers to a software product-centric business, 'Service as a Software' signifies a leap toward a service business that resolves customers' HR issues by any means necessary.

Flex CEO Jang Hae-nam noted on the 13th that he presented this vision at the '2025 Alignment Day' event welcoming the new year.

Flex highlighted three key elements of the paradigm shift to 'Service as a Software': 1. A unique service scope that starts with automating attendance and payroll management, covering functions such as electronic contracts, performance management, and expense management; 2. A subscription service by a group of experts consisting of HR and payroll professionals from various backgrounds, including HR consultants, entrepreneurs, and those from corporations and unicorns (startups valued at over 1 trillion won); 3. The integration of advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning with Flex's vast HR data accumulated from nearly 1 million users.

It embodies the ambition to evolve into a service that resolves customers' HR issues by any means, including products, people, and advanced technology.

CEO Jang said, “The essence has always been about 'problem solving,'” and urged all members to commit to leading and innovating in the market with the transformative perspective of 'Service as a Software.'
