The Korea Exchange announced on the 13th that it held the 'Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2025' event at its Seoul headquarters.

This event was held to raise awareness about the principles of private sector collaboration and women's empowerment in achieving one of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, gender equality. It is co-organized by the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), UN Women, the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (UN SSE), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

This year's bell ringing ceremony was held under the theme 'For all women and girls: rights, equality, empowerment.' As of this month, 123 global exchanges participated.
