Marketing from a financial platform reflecting the desire to quantify holiday nagging with money is attracting attention.

Kakao Pay launched the "Nagging T-shirt" event on the 15th. The T-shirt features typical nagging phrases associated with the Lunar New Year along with price tags. Starting from "Where will you go to college?" (50,000 won) to "I need to lose some weight" (100,000 won), "Are you dating?" (150,000 won), "Are you preparing well for employment?" (170,000 won), and "When will you get married?" (300,000 won).

Above each nagging phrase, there is a Kakao Pay remittance QR code, allowing recipients to send the corresponding amount when they actually nag. This connects the previously popular "nagging menu" online with a real remittance service.

This event from Kakao Pay has been praised for playfully addressing the generational perception gap and holiday stress. The event runs until the 16th, and 50 winners will have their T-shirts delivered before the Lunar New Year holiday. The "nagging payment envelope" can be used until the 31st of this month.
